Exchanged jackets with wl for the day and we set of for the Colosseum! Like all other famous attractions in Italy, there was a seemingly never ending queue for entrance tickets. Spent more than 2 hours snapping and snapping after we got in, munch preserved plums along the way as there were many dustbins all around the Colosseum. The sun never felt so good and finally we could take our jackets off to get some tan. Got lunch near the Arc de Constantino en route to Palatine Hill for even more phototaking. The area was huge and by the time we got to the Roman Forum, we were satisfied with just looking from above. Took a train to Circo Massimo to find La Bocca della Verita. We were late by merely 3 minutes hence no ascertaining if any of us told lies cause we didn't get to put our hands into the mouth.
Took a train to Republica for its fountain before dinner and gelato! Deciding to be healthy that day I had 3 fruity flavours. It was collectively so sour my tongue stang. -_-
