Check in at Aarhus was swift probably due to the godforsaken hour of our flight. We boarded to find three jerks sitting behind us, leaving us to sleep only fitfully as they yammered crap non-stop for the next hour.
Customs at Stansted was terrible as usual. Had our 65 pence cup noodles for dinner while waiting for our EasyBus ride to London. The driver sped through the entire trip and probably didn't let up on the accelerator except when there were red lights and speed cameras.
It was rather chilly when we arrived at Baker Street at 2 plus am in the morning. And brilliantly, I forgot to take down the directions to Stanhope Street and thus we decided to walk in what we assumed was the general direction of yw's place. That was when I caught sight of a familiar face. Literally. A guy from NJ. Though I didn't know him personally, a familiar face was the day's saving grace. No pun intended. Haha. He (fw) and and one of two other Singaporean girls (a) were studying in London and hosting the other girl (g) who was exchanging in Milan. And the world got smaller when we realised fw happened to live near Stanhope. What happened thereafter in a nutshell was the three of them helping me with my luggage and walking us straight to yw's doorstep.
A little screw up and awkwardness later, we were left with 4 hours of sleep.
