SeeSnowTouchSnowLaundryClub
It snowed again today!
The kids had fun in the snow,
throwing disintegrating snowballs,
getting pounded by rock hard snowballs,
soaking the last season sneakers,
forming snow angels,
making snowmen and women (cause we're against gender discrimination),
freezing the digits,
all as we waited for my last round of laundry.
1 more day odd to CF2.
No mood at all to study since ICF ended.
Woke up late.
Skyped mimi for 2:30:01.
Did ziltch work today.
Did I say I was going to study today?
I seem to recall vaguely such a statement.
Ok. Time to stop lamenting and get down to work!!

Firsts
Have I commented lately that finance is driving me insane?
Insane enough to;
feel the urge to tear up my notes with my teeth;
contemplate a suicide attempt by jumping out my 2nd storey window;
practically hear my head whir before falling asleep.
They were fencing up Snogebæksvej for security purposes causing a electricity cut 2 days before ICF.
Lights gone at 3pm odd, equivalent to a Black out as the sun sets at 430pm,
Stoves out, which meant no lunch for the slow ones.
Internet down, ie studying can't be done. Ok. There were notes in hard copy, but no lights. Wouldn't want to strain the eyes would we. Haha.
It had us whiling time away;
spliting the remaining food stock;
ambushing my floormates in the kitchen;
making a trip to Netto just to return intentionally empty-handed;
getting high from running to the supermarket at near
On the lighter side of things;
Århus has seen its first flakes for the coming winter! =)

The first day of December
Begins at 1°C.
Still waiting for it to snow in Aarhus. The possibility of a white christmas is now ziltch considering "snow in Barcelona is practically unheard of".
Turn white already!

Dalgas Ave gathering 2; B's Surprise Birthday Celebration
Woke up late in the morning and suffered the consquences of procrastinating the packing of my bag for the Scandinavia trip. Had a hard time hiding from b so we could surprise her at her dorm with Mr. Friendly's aid.
Reached at 4+pm, just 15 minutes after she came to the kitchen. Phew. That evening was the quickest dinner we ever cooked but unfortunately, b still came to the kitchen and found us before we could surprise her. Haha. Credits of being exposed a few seconds prematurely go to wl's totally wl suitcase which was left smack in the middle of the common room. Mr. F, who seemed to be jaga-ing outside the kitchen, said he was "powerless" to stop her from going into the kitchen. Oh well. His help didn't go unappreciated. Still one of the nicer SMU guys around. Finished up cooking and eating yj's super spicy bah kut teh, a's tomato garlic fish slices, wl's noodles, my stir fried broccoli and tofu. Explored b's clubroom before the last bit of surprise. A strawberry swirl cheesecake for b and a "DBSK" brownie for yj that a and wl had made at 3am the previous night.
Napped a little before our 3+ hour train journey to Kastrup, Copenhagen's international airport.

The Old and New
Before we left for London ...

The old school Skype out of my OS ...

Webcaming with Mimi! Finally with video call. Haha. I was suppose to be in a small box at the left hand corner but snapshot didn't pick that up. -_-
... 3 weeks later.

The pretty sunset we caught sight of on our way out on Tuesday evening.
All the trees outside my window are now bare.

Our first time seeing the church opposite wl's favourite Netto litted up.

Not taking Orientation Week into consideration, it was our first time going to town in the evening. Christmas lightings have been fitted. Just awaiting the flick of the switch. It's just around the corner! =)

Christmas decor in Bruun's Galleri. First time really exploring it after 4 months in Aarhus.

A trip we made materialise in a span of a few days. To Oslo and Stockholm in about 11 hours and I've yet to pack. Feeling confident it would be done in a jiffy after packing for our previous trip. Haha.
Hmm.. Notes, to bring or not to bring? That is the question. Haha.

Snog gathering 4
It was a rushed affair although we had decided on the date and who to cook what the previous Snog gathering. Probably the tiredness still hovering around. Went for grocery shopping to stock up our food after our first Corp Fin II lesson and somehow (I think it's the colour of the sky screwing up my thoughts yet again) by the time we got back to Snog, it was time to start preparing dinner at wl's kitchen.
It was a day when Murphy's Law was at work. Powder which was meant to be dough, too large a pinch of salt, a quiche a tad too moist, Campbell soup that bubbled over and a recipe followed a little too literally. Haha.
To think I thought the meal wouldn't be filling. B's buns, yj's meatballs, a's shrimp and mushroom quiche, my Campbell soup and wl's apple cobbler almost caused my stomach to rupture. Haha. They were all good. Just that my stomach was acting up and protesting to something. A little wu hua guo drink to settle the stomach a little but it still continued to churn. =S Split the remaining apple cobbler and daidee-ed to see who would take which piece before heading back to block 45 with yj .

The last Strat tutorial...
... For which I really intended to go for, I missed. Definitely the fatigue from the past 20 days setting in all at once. It wasn't that I didn't hear the alarm. I did. But I looked at my window, saw that it was dark out, scoffed at how it was impossible for it to be so dark at 830am and went back to sleep. It didn't register in my head then how it was virtually impossible for both my alarm clock and handphone to screw up at the same time and that I had forgottened to open the grill after getting back to Aarhus.
Major zzz...
As b said, lucky we didn't buy chocolates to appease our tutor for skipping the past 3 weeks worth of tutorials.
Now make that 4. -_-

Snog gathering 3; Deepavali
Not that we cooked anything remotely Deepavali related. Wl's bah kut teh, a's pineapple chicken, yj's stir fried noodles, b's raspberry chocolate truffle and my takoyaki. Oily affair but practice makes perfect. Haha. Daidee-ed and bridged while waiting for the truffle to solidify. Only digged in past 12. A little funny trying to cut into the truffle. Unglam. Ended up playing till now. 559am. >.< Biological clock is screwed up.
6 days to CF1.

Snog. gathering 2; Mid Autumn Festival
Only had about half an hour after the Legoland trip to unpack and prepare for our dinner gathering. My turn to do dessert and what could be more suitable than mooncakes. The rest came over to my kitchen this time round. We took a mighty long time and dinner was only served at 9plus pm. By then, the full moon got hidden by the clouds and my mooncakes weren't even ready yet. Dinner was good (as all our dinners have always been. Haha.) only this time round we had overcooked. B's taugay with taugua and carrots, wl's pineapple mayo shrimp salad and beef patties, a's pasta and yj's cream of mushroom soup served as the main course. Had to play zhong ji mi ma to finish up the vegetable and pack up the remaining pasta for the next day.
After dinner, I continued on with my mooncakes with some help from the rest to wrap them up. Washed the utensils and set the table for our little MAF celebration. Strawberry, lemon and other fruity flavoured teas weren't exactly Jasmine or Chrysanthemum but guess the traditions had to be altered slightly this year due to constraints. Haha. Mooncake turned out well. Sort of. Other than the filling that got (in my opinion) destroyed due to the usage of dried lotus seeds because of the lack of availability of fresh ones, the skin tasted good! =)
Yes, the mooncakes were a plain round shape. No pictures, no engravings (save the one we made of our names and yj's attempted to carve dbsk into one of them =.= Haha.), no patterns. I didn't have a mould or the time ok. -_-''
Missed out on the Oktoberfest event at Baren that we had intended to go for. Talked all the way to 5plus am before the rest headed back to get sleep.
